Kelly Buchanan, M.S.M., APR, is the founder and senior communications strategist of Oak Alley Concepts, where she helps organizations build trust, strengthen brands, and communicate with purpose. With nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, and public relations, Kelly specializes in serving clients across the agriculture, transportation, logistics, and food industries.
Prior to founding Oak Alley Concepts in 2023, Kelly served as Director of Communications for a leading grain and transportation company, overseeing communications, marketing, branding, and public relations across multiple business lines spanning food, feed, grain, logistics, and transportation.
In addition to her consulting work, Kelly serves as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Public Relations at West Virginia University, where she teaches the next generation of communications professionals. She also serves as Chair of the National Grain and Feed Association's Communications, Marketing, and Membership Committee, leading initiatives that strengthen industry engagement and collaboration.
Kelly holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications and is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) through the Universal Accreditation Board, demonstrating her commitment to ethical, strategic communication and professional excellence.
